For this project, I wanted to capture the raw, naturalistic and messiness of real life on the left and the fake, unnatural elements that we put in our life such as cosmetics and clothing. I used very diluted bleach on the already died blue fabric and when that didn’t work, I put ammonia on it. It kind of killed my lungs and the result wasn’t that worth it. I used gold ink to represent the beauty of naturality. It was taken differently, but I don’t mind that at all!
